Shop Laborer

Randahl Construction is currently seeking qualified applicants for a Full-Time day shift Shop Laborer. A family-owned and operated commercial remodeling and commercial concrete company with 40 years of experience, Randahl Construction is headquartered in Corcoran, MN, and serves the Twin Cities Metro area. The company is committed to a strong safety culture and upholding its core values while delivering projects to clients within the Twin Cities and greater metro area.

Typical Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Perform shop duties prior to the supervisor
• Perform washing and cleaning duties
• Turn lights on/off in shop at the beginning/end of every day
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment
• Keep work areas clean and organized

Field Duties/Jobs

• Load and unload job site supplies on trucks and trailers
• Load and unload equipment from skid steer rigs
• Deliver supplies and equipment to job sites.

• The ability to follow the dress code and job site safety policies
• The ability to work at or perform strenuous activities working with others in various departments
• The ability to stand for long periods of time while working
• The ability to understand verbal directions, carry out, and perform the tasks as directed
• The ability to work in all kinds of weather
• Willingness to attend training as necessary or required by management
• Ability to work long days
• Possession of the ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class A or B.

Other Requirements:

• Must pass a criminal background check
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with proper insurance
• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Physical stamina
• Perform pre-employment screening
• This is a safety sensitive position (working with and operating heavy equipment)
• Follow all shop safety policies
