CNC 5-Axis Mazak Mill Programmer-Operator

Step into a day where your craftsmanship powers innovation. You’ll arrive to detailed prints and specifications, plan the setup for a Mazak 5-axis CNC mill, and program with Mazatrol and G-code to create complex aerospace components. You’ll select tools, verify offsets, and cut a variety of materials while holding tight tolerances. Throughout the run, you’ll measure with micrometers and bore gauges, document results with accuracy, and collaborate with teammates to keep quality and throughput on target.

What you’ll do

• Operate and maintain Mazak CNC 5-axis mills to produce high-quality parts and components.
• Program and set up CNC machines directly from blueprints, specifications, and written instructions using Mazatrol and G-code (Mastercam experience is a plus).
• Read and interpret complex prints and specs; plan sequences and tooling accordingly.
• Hold tight tolerances across diverse materials by dialing in feeds, speeds, and tooling.
• Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, bore gauges, etc.) to verify conformance.
• Document setups and results with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Contribute positively to a fast-paced team culture through productivity, cooperation, data collection, and a can-do attitude.

What you bring

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience with Mazak CNC 5-axis mills.
• Proven skill in CNC programming and setup based on print and written requirements.
• Fluency with Mazatrol and G-code; understanding of Mastercam preferred.
• Expert blueprint/spec reading and the ability to consistently hold tight tolerances.
• Experience machining a range of materials and using precision metrology tools.
• Meticulous documentation habits and teamwork mindset.
