PART-TIME RETAIL ASSOCIATE
- Open and close gift shop
- Reconcile Cash drawer before and after shift. Run reports and turn in to Night Audit
- Greet incoming customers, engage with customer by active listening
- Offer assistance with purchasing options, provide exemplary pro-active customer service before, during and after the sale.
- Process sales transactions, refunds, and exchanges
- Troubleshoot errors or system/process glitches
- Offer information about products and promotions
- Answer questions about merchandise and make recommendations - Be proactive
- Create and restock retail displays
- Keep retail space and window surfaces clean
- Promote online shop
- Make sure every guest who enters and exits the shop is acknowledged
- Assist team members with daily shop operations
- Communicate with Front Desk/Concierge any gift shop updates
- Conduct monthly inventory
- Report to Supervisor any inventory needs and special requests for custom orders
