This is a full-time on-site internship role for a Mechatronics Engineering Intern located in Ventura, CA. The intern will assist in designing, prototyping, and testing mechanical and electrical systems. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and editing engineering documentation, troubleshooting and analyzing system performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting the integration of electronic components with mechanical systems. The role offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to real-world engineering projects in a dynamic construction and engineering setting.
- Knowledge in mechanical and electrical systems, including design, prototyping, and system integration
- Familiarity with tools such as CAD software, PLC programming, and circuit design
- Ability to troubleshoot, analyze system performance, and solve technical problems effectively
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
