Responsibilities
Advanced Photonix, located in Camarillo, CA, has a paid internship opportunity for an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering student to:
- Test prototype and engineering parts and modules.
- Participate in design validation.
- construct and assemble test fixtures under supervision.
- Participate in design reviews.
- Write simple test code for embedded fixtures.
- Document test procedures and data.
- Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
- Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
- It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
- Selected candidate must be pursuing an undergraduate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and actively enrolled at an accredited college or university. Experience with MS Office desired.
Pay may range from $20.00 to $22.00 hourly
