Responsibilities
- repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration
- Perform light plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as pipe repairs, fittings, and drainage issues.
- Diagnose electrical problems using tools like ohmmeters and conduct electrical
- Maintain compliance with EPA regulations by handling refrigerants responsibly and performing necessary certifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
- Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a strong background in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems.
- Service technician experience
- Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing system repair, maintenance procedures, welding skills, and boiler servicing.
- Familiarity with property maintenance tasks including appliance repair and general building upkeep.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment safely and effectively.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required for field service operations.
