Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and high-energy Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to lead our warehouse floor operations. You will be the point person for the entire lifecycle of our inventory—from the moment a container hits the dock to the second the final shipment leaves our doors.
The ideal candidate is a master of logistics who can balance "the big picture" of routing and scheduling with the "boots-on-the-ground" reality of supervising a team and maintaining system accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Inbound Container Management: Oversee the physical receipt of ocean and domestic containers. Ensure all seals are intact and documentation is verified upon arrival.
- Merchandise Segregation: Lead the team in unloading and organizing goods. You will be responsible for ensuring items are sorted by SKU, batch, or destination according to company standards.
- System Integrity: Perform "Receive in System" functions using our WMS (Warehouse Management System). You must ensure that physical counts perfectly match digital records.
- Workflow Delegation: Analyze daily orders and delegate pick tickets to warehouse associates. You’ll monitor progress to ensure same-day fulfillment targets are met.
- Logistics & Routing: Determine the most efficient routing for outbound shipments, coordinating with freight forwarders, small parcel carriers, and LTL (Less Than Truckload) drivers.
- Documentation: Prepare all necessary shipping manifests, Bill of Lading (BOL), packing slips, and commercial invoices for domestic and international transit.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
