Responsibilities
Assist in preparing ingredients and assembling dishes according to established recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware
Support cooking activities by following instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold food safety regulations
Assist with food plating and presentation to ensure appealing dishes are served promptly
Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to maintain a tidy environment
Contribute to team efforts in setting up banquet or event kitchens as needed
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth kitchen operations
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hotel kitchens is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or bending
Familiarity with food handling regulations and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Experience with banquet service, serving, or bussing is a plus but not mandatory
A positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to grow within the hospitality industry
Pay: $3,000.00 - $3,500.00 per month
