Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Access Control Officer to join our team for night shifts from Thursday to Saturday, 11 PM to 7 AM. In this vital role, you will manage entry points, monitor surveillance systems, and uphold security protocols to safeguard premises. Your proactive approach will help maintain a secure environment while providing exceptional service to visitors and staff.
Duties
- Authorize and verify access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors in accordance with security policies
- Monitor CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
- Conduct visual inspections of entry points, fences, and surrounding areas to ensure integrity of the premises
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed
- Maintain accurate logs of access records, incident reports, and shift activities
- Perform conflict management when necessary, de-escalating situations with professionalism and calmness
- Enforce loss prevention measures by observing for theft or unauthorized activities
Skills
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV operations and monitoring techniques
- Strong understanding of law enforcement procedures and conflict management strategies
- Ability to perform first aid and CPR in emergency situations
- Experience in security or military roles is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and visitors
- Familiarity with loss prevention practices and security protocols
