Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic individual to join our team of DJs and help bring vibrant entertainment and lively atmosphere to our events. Our primarily focus on in-house weddings, but also host corporate and private parties. As a DJ, you will control the audio during ceremonies and then be the emcee of the party during the receptions, blending music, engaging audiences, and creating memorable experiences. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase and grow in your public speaking skills and passion for music while connecting with diverse audiences.
Duties
- Curate and mix playlists that match the event’s theme and audience preferences to keep the energy high and guests engaged
- Use professional DJ equipment to seamlessly transition between songs, ensuring smooth flow and maintaining momentum throughout the event
- Engage with guests through public speaking, announcements, and interactive activities to foster a fun and inclusive atmosphere
- Coordinate with our event directors and coordinators to understand specific requirements and deliver seamless events
- Manage sound levels, troubleshoot technical issues promptly, and ensure optimal audio quality at all times
- Incorporate dancing or movement prompts to encourage guest participation and enhance overall entertainment experience
Requirements
- Proven experience in audio equipment and performances
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with diverse audiences and event staff
- Public speaking ability to make announcements or host segments effectively
- Ability to dance or demonstrate rhythm to connect with the crowd creatively
- Strong organizational skills for preparing and delivering on clients' expectations

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
