Responsibilities
- Curate and mix playlists that match the theme and mood of each wedding or event, ensuring a lively and engaging atmosphere
- Act as the master of ceremonies by making announcements, introducing speakers or couples, and keeping guests informed and entertained
- Interact with clients prior to the event to understand their vision, preferences, and special requests to tailor the entertainment experience
- Coordinate with event planners, venue staff, and other vendors to ensure smooth execution of the program
- Demonstrate energetic dancing when appropriate to encourage guest participation and elevate the party vibe
- Manage equipment setup and breakdown efficiently, including heavy lifting of audio gear and staging materials
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout events, providing exceptional customer service at all times
Experience
- Experience as a DJ at weddings or large-scale events, with a strong portfolio showcasing your musical versatility and crowd engagement skills
- Excellent communication skills for public speaking, making announcements, and interacting confidently with diverse audiences
- Ability to perform light dancing to energize guests and create an inviting atmosphere
- Comfortable with heavy lifting of audio equipment, staging elements, and related gear
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor and professional presentation
