Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Truck Driver role based in Wilmington, NC. The Truck Driver will operate CDL Class A trucks to transport hazardous materials, arms, ammunition, explosives, and other sensitive freight while following company and regulatory safety protocols. Daily responsibilities include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing and monitoring loads, completing required logs and documentation, and adhering to DOT regulations and company policies. The role involves coordinating with dispatch and operations teams, maintaining clear communication on route status, and supporting port drayage, transloading, and secure in-transit holding activities as needed. The Truck Driver is expected to handle unloading tasks when required, maintain a clean and serviceable vehicle, and consistently uphold high-security and compliance standards.

Qualifications

- Strong safety awareness, risk management skills, and commitment to following high-security procedures.
- Clean driving record and eligibility to pass background checks and drug/alcohol screening.
- Ability to work on-site in Wilmington, NC, with flexibility for regional travel along the Atlantic Coast.
- Effective communication skills and reliability in maintaining logs, documentation, and reporting.
