Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a pristine environment
- Perform detailed cleaning of bathrooms, including disinfecting fixtures, mirrors, and surfaces to uphold sanitation standards
- Handle laundry services such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas including hallways, lobbies, and stairwells by sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely while adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines
- Conduct window cleaning and pressure washing as needed to keep exterior surfaces spotless
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to cleaning supplies or furniture movement using proper manual handling techniques
Experience
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred, especially in commercial or hospitality environments
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, pressure washers, floor care machines, and chemical handling is advantageous
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures, infection control practices, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is essential
- Experience in window cleaning, pressure washing, or specialized floor care enhances your ability to perform the role effectively
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with guests and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
