You should ideally have experience with industrial washing products as well as the ability to lift 20 pounds or more on a consistent basis. 13.00 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Dry clothing and linens after each wash cycle according to the manufacturer's instructions
- Put all laundry in a washing machine and follow the manufacturer's directions for adding the cleaning chemicals
- Sort all linens to identify stains and treat stains with proper cleaning products and methods
- Monitor all laundry equipment and notify the facilities manager of any maintenance requirements
- Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to general manager
Qualifications:
- Must have graduated from high school or received an equivalent certification
- 1 years as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar position
- Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
- This position requires the ability to lift 20 or more pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and products
