We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our team. Join our team at Ramada Inn in Arcata, CA!
Job Type: Part-time, closer to full-time during summer months
Pay: From $16.90 per hour
Expected hours: ~ 20 hours per week to start, closer to full time as summer begins
Expected Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 10 am - completion (~2 to 4 pm)
Seasonal Position
**MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS**
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces
- Clean and stock designated facility areas
- Dispose of trash and recyclables appropriately
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures
- Notify management of any repairs needed
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
Skills
- Experience in industrial cleaning or housekeeping roles preferred
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and management
- Physical ability to:
- Ability to perform essential functions of job.
- To be able to physically lift and carry up to 25 lbs. frequently.
- Ability to see, grasp (fine finger manipulation), and reach above shoulders.
- Ability to bend and stoop constantly throughout the day (6-8 hours)
