Work Environment: As a Safety Intern for RAM, the employee will be subject to various work environments. Work environments may include but are not limited to the following: seasonal temperatures, high spaces, small spaces, loud and frequent noises, standing/walking for up to 12 hours a day, indoor/outdoor settings, areas close to traffic.
Travel: If travel is required to complete your job duties, you will be recompensated appropriately (mileage reimbursement, etc).
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be regularly met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Generous Compensation Package Includes
- $22/hr starting wage.
- $150 Apparel Allowance
- Assisting Safety Director and Safety Managers with job start-up paperwork.
- Attending safety meetings
- Conducting on-site inspections with Safety personnel
- Tracking and recording safety-related statistics
- Completing Job Safety Analysis
Experience, Knowledge And Abilities Required
- Excellent computer skills.
- Comfortable with meeting and talking with new people.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must have reliable transportation
- Have knowledge in all safety related aspects in construction.
