The Payroll Administrator is responsible for processing payroll in a corporate accounting office covering payroll, and monthly commissions for 500 employees and multiple locations.
- Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, commissions, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
- Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and benefits changes.
- Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
- Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires and terminations
- Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
- Maintain employee payroll files.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- At least 2 years of commission based payroll experience
- ADP Workforce now experience
- Experience working in an automotive sales and service environment highly desirable
- CDK experience is desirable
- Strong PC skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skill
