👩⚕️👨⚕️ About the Role
This full-time position (4.5 days per week) offers a meaningful opportunity to provide high-quality care to geriatric patients while floating between prestigious senior living communities, outpatient clinics, and nursing facilities in the Raleigh and Cary areas.
Geriatric experience is required.
What You’ll Do
Your days will be impactful and rewarding as you:
- Perform age-appropriate histories and physicals for complex acute, critical, and chronic patients
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic and therapeutic tests
- Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments
- Implement interventions to support physiologic stability
- Assist with surgical care as applicable and within regulations
- Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans as needed
- Support smooth transitions across care settings (admit, transfer, discharge)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and make appropriate referrals
- Educate patients, families, and staff to support informed decision-making
✔️ What You Bring
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Internal Medicine & Geriatric care
- Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
- Current APRN or PA licensure
- Current specialty certification
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- CNOR/CRNFA certification (if applicable)
- Eligibility for hospital privileges

- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and systems
- A passion for working with geriatric patients
💪 Physical Requirements
- Prolonged standing, bending, and reaching
- Ability to support at least 75 lbs for safe patient mobility
- Fine motor skills and visual acuity
