· Valid drivers license, dependable transportation with minimum automobile liability insurance.

Job Duties
· Ensure staff adheres to Head Start Performance Standards, Child Care Licensing Regulations, RCCAA Policies and Procedures, and all other applicable regulations.
· Monitor staff and classroom activities (including home visits/parent conferences) on monthly basis. Report findings to Education Coordinator.
· Discipline and evaluate assigned staff.
· Approve all lesson and field trip plans.
· Disseminate accurate information (memoranda, meeting minutes, calendars, etc.) to staff and parents.
Supervise Education staff by providing ongoing support and feedback, building morale, acting as a resource person and problem solver.
· Perform Coaching assignments as requested by the Education Coordinator.
· Monitor building maintenance and repairs; notify supervisor as needs arise.
· Assure all classroom materials, furniture, and equipment are safe and clean
· Participate in parent/teacher meetings and activities.
· Assist in the establishment of bus routes.
· Ensure the safe pickup and delivery of children.
· Collaborate with other management staff, Family Service Workers, and other staff to ensure high-quality, comprehensive services are offered to families and children.
· Arrange staff to cover absent employees.
· Maintain updated copies of Service Area Plans, Performance Standards, Agency and Program Policies and Procedures, staff meeting minutes, observations and evaluations, supplies and materials request.
· Establish and maintain emergency procedures, fire drill records, and center safety reports.
· Gather In-kind sheets and submit to Family Services Coordinator monthly.
· Submit accident/incident reports and submit to Health Coordinator.
Prepare and submit all necessary reports in a timely fashion.
· Monitor data (attendance, case notes, etc.) Child Plus in timely and accurate fashion.
· Participate in employee performance evaluation and individualized professional development plan.
· Attend Multi-Advisory meetings.
· Assist and participate in quarterly program staffing of children and families.
· Attend all meetings, in-service trainings, workshops, and conferences as requested by the supervisor.
· Ensure all purchase order, IT, and maintenance request are submitted in a timely manner.
· Work flexible hours when necessary.
· Maintain confidentiality at all times.
· Lift 50 lbs., and demonstrate ability to participate in mild to moderate activities with children.
· Receive and maintain standard First Aid/CPR certification.
· Receive bi-annual physical exam.
· Deal effectively with public.
· Demonstrate ability to work as a team member and develop positive rapport and professional attitude towards parents and staff.
