Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in various care settings, including hospice care, assisted living, and nursing homes. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Monitor patients' health and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
• Administer first aid and CPR when necessary.
• Support clients with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed treatments.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
• Document care provided and any significant observations during shifts.

Skills

• Experience in hospice care, patient monitoring, or long-term care settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques is essential.
• Ability to assist individuals with disabilities effectively.
• Strong communication skills to interact compassionately with clients and their families.
• Proficiency in meal preparation tailored to individual dietary requirements.
• Familiarity with nursing home protocols and assisted living environments is a plus.
• A genuine passion for helping others and improving their quality of life.

Pay: $16.29 - $16.78 per hour
