Electrical Design Engineer – (Malvern, PA. On-Site)
RAJANT CORPORATION, the 20 year leader in industrial wireless patented Kinetic Mesh® networking solutions, providing full mobility and autonomous products, is looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our Hardware Development team. This individual will need to be energetic, self-motivated, and intellectually curious, determined to uphold Rajant’s highest level of product quality.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits for wireless communication systems
- Collaborate on RF front-end design, power management, and high-speed digital interfaces (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet, USB)
- Support PCB layout activities, including schematic capture, component selection, and design reviews
- Participate in hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation of new products
- Work with firmware and systems teams to ensure optimal hardware/software integration and performance
- Conduct signal, and power integrity analysis as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Masters preferred
- 3–7 years of experience in electronic hardware design and product development, preferably with wireless products or RF technologies
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, including power regulation and high-speed digital design
- Hands-on experience with RF or wireless hardware design particularly Wi-Fi (802.11) or similar technologies
- Familiarity with schematic and PCB design tools
- Must be proficient using lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers
- Understanding of hardware validation, DFM/DFT principles, and reliability testing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

- Location: Rajant Headquarters in Malvern PA. • On-site (preferred), Hybrid (negotiable).
- 8hr shift, Mon-Fri. 5 days per week. 9am-5pm.
