CNA WARD CLERK

### Job Duties

Performs a variety of clerical duties by preparing, compiling and maintaining patient care records for the hospital nursing unit. Also provides direct care to patients within the scope of his/her training and experience under direct supervision of a professional nurse. Ability to think and work independently and with direction and communicate with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.

### Minimum Education Required

Minimum Qualifications:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Basic Life Support (BLS) within 1 year of hire
• High School Graduate or equivalent
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum one yr. experience, Medical Terminology Course or equivalent
