Rainmaker Technology Corporation
El Segundo, CA Full Time
POSTED ON 7/9/2026

About Rainmaker

Across the United States, more than 80 million people suffer from drought. Essential systems that sustain life—drinking water, food production, and power generation—are under strain, threatening the security and resilience of our communities.

Rainmaker's mission is to use proven, dependable technologies to fight water scarcity. In doing so, we secure not only our own future but also the beauty and abundance of our natural world.

About the Role

This is not a traditional Executive Assistant role.

You'll work directly with Rainmaker's Founder & CEO, helping manage his time, communications, travel, and day-to-day operations. You'll coordinate complex domestic and international travel, manage an evolving schedule, prepare for important meetings, and ensure priorities stay on track as the company grows.

The role extends well beyond calendar management. You'll work across every part of the company, from engineering and recruiting to government affairs, fundraising, and customer engagements. You'll frequently interact with senior executives, investors, government officials, and partners, and you'll often travel alongside the CEO to support meetings and company initiatives.

The pace is fast, expectations are high, and priorities change quickly. Some travel will be on short notice, and the hours won't always be predictable. The right person is highly organized, exercises good judgment, communicates exceptionally well, and enjoys solving problems before they become someone else's.

This role is best suited for someone early in their career who wants an unusually close view of how an ambitious technology company is built and is excited to take on significant responsibility from day one.

What You’ll Do

    • Own the CEO's calendar, ensuring time is allocated to the highest-impact priorities.
    • Coordinate complex domestic and international travel, often on short notice.
    • Travel alongside the CEO for customer meetings, government engagements, conferences, and internal offsites.
    • Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and background research ahead of important conversations.
    • Coordinate communication between internal teams, customers, investors, and government stakeholders.
    • Anticipate operational issues before they become problems.
    • Handle confidential information with absolute discretion.
    • Help execute special projects that range from strategic initiatives to whatever needs to get done that day.
    • Remove friction from the CEO's workflow so execution never slows down.

Required Qualifications

    • Willingness and capability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% the time, including occasional short-notice travel.
    • Administrative experience supporting senior level executives in a corporate environment.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Approachable style and ability to effectively and professionally interface with high level executives, clients, employees and business associates both internal and external.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills. Proven experience in multi-tasking and working with multiple people and priorities, while delivering on high quality results and follow through.
    • Demonstrates curiosity and a desire to understand the company goals.
    • Experience supporting multiple executives.
    • Experience with domestic and international travel coordination.
    • Proficient in scheduling meetings in multiple time zones.
    • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous internship or 1–2 years of experience in the Federal government (e.g. Congress, Executive Office of the President, federal agencies, Department of Defense, or national laboratories), management consulting, venture capital, investment banking, or other high-performance environments.
    • Experience supporting senior executives, founders, or high-performing teams.
    • Previous startup experience or demonstrated interest in building early-stage companies.
    • Exceptional written communication skills and the ability to draft executive correspondence with minimal direction.
    • Experience coordinating complex domestic and international travel.
    • Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits

    • Significant equity grant with meaningful upside as an early employee.
    • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
    • 401(k) with employer matching.
    • Relocation assistance, if applicable.
    • Unlimited PTO.
    • Daily lunch provided when working from our El Segundo headquarters.
    • Opportunity to travel domestically and internationally alongside the CEO and leadership team.
    • Front-row seat to building one of the world's leading weather modification companies.
