Rainmaker Hospitality is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Director of Revenue Management to join our team on-site in Lexington, KY. This role is designed for a revenue leader who can align strategy across a multi-brand portfolio by partnering with brand revenue teams, hotel leadership, and corporate operations to drive consistent execution and measurable results.
This is not a remote position. You'll lead the rhythm, reporting, and accountability that ensures each hotel’s revenue strategy is clear, coordinated, and executed—week after week.

Rainmaker Hospitality is a third-party hotel management company with a strong concentration in Kentucky and additional assets in Ohio. We manage a portfolio of 29 hotels across major brands (Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, Marriott, Choice, Best Western and others), focused on delivering results for owners through operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and financial performance.
What This Role Involves
As the Director of Revenue Management, you will drive portfolio revenue performance by aligning property-level execution with brand revenue strategies and market realities. You’ll serve as the connection between brand revenue managers, hotel teams, and Rainmaker leadership—ensuring revenue calls lead to action, forecasts are credible, and strategies are consistent across the portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead and standardize the revenue management cadence across the portfolio (weekly revenue calls, action plans, follow-ups, and performance reviews)
Partner with brand revenue managers to align strategies, priorities, and decisions across hotels and ensure recommendations are executed at the property level
Translate revenue strategy into clear, trackable actions for GMs, Sales leaders, and operations partners
Monitor and report portfolio performance trends (RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, index, pace, mix, and other key KPIs) and escalate risks/opportunities early
Drive forecasting discipline: review weekly/monthly forecasts, validate assumptions, and improve accuracy and consistency across properties
Review STR and market intelligence to assess comp set positioning and recommend portfolio-level focus areas
Support annual rooms revenue budgeting and business planning processes with clear assumptions and documentation
Build strong relationships with ownership/asset stakeholders as needed by providing clear, confident revenue narratives and performance explanations
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives
Experience, Skills, And Systems
5 years of hotel revenue management / revenue strategy experience (multi-property strongly preferred)
Strong understanding of brand revenue ecosystems and how to partner effectively with brand revenue managers
Proven ability to lead cross-functional alignment across Operations, Sales, and property leadership
Strong analytical and communication skills—able to turn data into direction and accountability
Advanced proficiency in Excel and comfort with dashboards/reporting and performance storytelling
Experience With Multi-brand Environments And Select-service/extended-stay Hotels Preferred
Willingness to travel to hotels as needed (regional travel)
