What You’ll Do:

As a Batcher, you will:

• Collect, weigh, and batch raw materials according to precise batch tickets
• Operate mixing and blending equipment to ensure product consistency
• Set mixer parameters and monitor batch cycles for safety and efficiency
• Label, organize, and store batch materials to maintain workflow and traceability
• Inspect ingredients and finished batches to meet quality standards
• Perform routine quality checks and report any inconsistencies
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work area in compliance with GMP standards
• Suggest process improvements to increase batch accuracy and efficiency

What We’re Looking For:

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong understanding of weights, measures, and batching techniques
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort with operating mixer or batching equipment
• Ability to read and interpret batch tickets and follow production processes
• Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office and ERP systems familiarity a plus
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1 years of experience in batching, food prep, or production mixing roles preferred
• Familiarity with GMPs, OSHA regulations, and food/pharma production environments a plus
• Experience with batching software or ERP systems is a bonus

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
• Stand and walk for extended periods (8–12 hours per day)
• Repetitive grasping, bending, and reaching movements required
• Must be able to safely operate mixers, forklifts, and other production equipment
• Required PPE includes respirators, safety glasses, and slip-resistant footwear
