What You’ll Do
- Support category strategies aligned with business objectives
- Assist with supplier selection, onboarding, and relationship management
- Help negotiate pricing, terms, and volume commitments
- Coordinate purchasing activities to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Monitor supplier performance related to quality, service, and responsiveness
- Track market trends, pricing movements, and industry developments
- Analyze purchasing data to identify cost savings and improvement opportunities
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related role
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and purchasing or ERP systems
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field
- Experience working with suppliers and participating in pricing or contract discussions
- Comfort analyzing pricing trends, supplier performance, and total cost of ownership
