Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Floater Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will provide flexible classroom support across various age groups, ensuring a nurturing environment that promotes childhood development and learning. Duties
- Assist in developing and implementing engaging curriculum plans tailored to different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Support classroom activities by facilitating lessons in literacy education, math, physical education, and other core subjects.
- Provide direct care and supervision for children, ensuring their safety and well-being during classroom hours.
- Manage behavior effectively using positive behavior management techniques to create a respectful and productive learning environment.
- Assist with classroom organization, including preparing materials, setting up learning stations, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, childcare best practices, and other relevant areas.
- Provide coverage across multiple classrooms as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork within the educational staff.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings; preschool or daycare experience preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and classroom management techniques.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and physical education.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and age groups while maintaining professionalism.
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is desirable but not mandatory.
