What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiving Clerk position at Rain Rock Casino Resort Hotel?
- Maintain daily Receiving Log, packing slips with matched requisitions along with any notations.
- On a daily basis scan competed Receiving Logs, packing slips, and requisitions into folders, and update outgoing mail logs.
- Verify received items, from the packing slips to what was delivered, and to what was ordered on the purchase order or requisition.
- Examine incoming shipments, inspect for damaged or missing items. Ensure information is noted on the packing slips and requisition and follow up with the vendor to correct.
- Input received items in Sage 100 Purchase Order Module.
- On a daily basis deliver completed paperwork to Accounts Payable.
- Deliver incoming items that have been processed to the proper department in a timely manner.
- Contact Gaming Commission, surveillance and the purchasing department for gaming sensitive items received. Ensure the items are secured behind locked door or in front of cameras.
- Review the Sage 100 outstanding orders report for accuracy.
- Check emails for requests and phone calls from vendors regarding deliveries.
- Be available on Theatro communicator.
- Ensure the rollup door is secured when not in use.
- Maintain the receiving area and the warehouse areas in an organized and clean condition.
- Fill internal office supply requests from departments. Maintain office supply inventory with end of month count sent to Controller.
- Process outgoing mail take to the postal office or arrange for parcel vendor pickup. Ensure Mail outgoing log is maintained.
- Follow receiving policy and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality over all transactions and information. Do not discuss business practices, product, pricing or other confidential information outside of the Casino.
- Attend mandatory and non-mandatory training, meetings and briefings.
- Maintain appearance standards as outlined in Rain Rock Casino’s Team Member Handbook.
- Provide information to our guests about current marketing promotions, property amenities and our Players Club.
- Provide courteous service to our guests.

Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School diploma or GED (required).
- Must be physically able to lift and move boxes of up to 50lbs.
- Able to use a forklift safely.
- Ability to accurately complete arithmetic computations in order to sufficiently perform duties of the job.
- Use Sage 100 software to receive items to requisitions and purchase orders.
- Use Excel, Word and email to communicate information.
- Able to scan documents to folders and maintain folder systems by date/subject.
- Ability to work and perform tasks independently.
- Accurately type 45 wpm and proficient with ten-key calculator.
- Highly self-motivated and directed.

- Indian preference will be observed in the hiring process.
Perform duties related to the receipt and distribution of incoming and outgoing casino materials and equipment. Keep the receiving area organized and clear any trash.
