Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Dishwasher/Prep Cook. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and maintaining cleanliness to uphold food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the chef
- Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure all dishes are cleaned and sanitized
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Support kitchen staff with various tasks as needed
- Help with bussing tables, catering, and banquet setup when required
Experience
- Prior experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with food service operations is a plus
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is beneficial
- Experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is advantageous
- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively with the team
