Railroad Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a motivated, highly organized professional to support our growing operations in the Baltimore / Washington, D.C. Metro area. This role is for a Project Manager who is also capable, open to and enjoys Estimating.

- Analyze project documents for risk, schedule, and profitability.
- Review plans/specs and prepare accurate, competitive bid proposal.
- Perform quantity take-offs and pricing for materials, subcontractors, and crews.
- Compare bids to historical data and manage post-bid documentation.
- Assist with project startup, budgeting, and cost tracking.
- Support project teams with scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
- Communicate with owners, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Participate in project meetings and help drive safety and quality standards.
- Track project performance through cost controls and financial reporting.
- Visit project sites to evaluate construction methods and progress.
- Act as the go-to communicator with owners, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Lead project meetings and support Superintendents with work plans and schedules.
- Manage budgets, change orders, and subcontractor agreements.
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment.
- Track project performance through cost controls, financials, and CPM schedules (P6 or equivalent).
- Mentor and develop engineering staff to strengthen project teams.
- Champion safety by leading by example following our Company/client policies.
- Drive quality by implementing project programs and maintaining high standards.
Salary : $110,000 - $160,000
