What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pump Truck Operator position at Raider Rooter?
We are seeking a Pump Truck Driver/Operator to join our team We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail oriented, and willing to work. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate pump truck and its mechanics
- Transport sewage, grease, and/or storm water from job site to dumping facility
- Follow assigned route and schedule for timely completion
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating vehicles
- Perform pre and post trip inspections on pump truck.
- Maintain accurate notes of what was completed at scheduled work order.
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with tanker endorsement (Must have for a minimum of 3 years)
- Previous experience with septic/grease pumping is high preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures for DOT vehicles
- Ability to be comfortable using an electronic dispatching system
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

Experience:
