TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER – USA West Coast
EnergyCuring Division
We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to develop and grow our business within the USA West Coast territory. This role combines technical expertise, consultative sales, and relationship management to support customers in the adhesives, coatings, and inks industries with focus on UV curing solutions. You will work closely with internal teams such as Application Laboratories, R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Regulatory, as well as with international colleagues and distributors, to provide customers with strong technical guidance and reliable commercial support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow sales within the assigned U.S. territory through proactive customer engagement and opportunity identification
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including technical experts, purchasing teams, and decision‑makers
- Provide technical consultation and recommend suitable products and solutions for customer applications in adhesives, coatings, inks, and 3D Printing
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in collaboration with R&D, Application Laboratories, and Technical Key Account Managers
- Coordinate and support customer development projects involving internal Application Laboratories
- Manage pricing discussions, commercial negotiations, contracts, and forecasts within defined approval limits
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, market insights, and reporting to support business planning and supply chain coordination
- Collaborate closely with distribution partners and support joint customer development activities
- Work cross‑functionally with global sales, marketing, regulatory, and supply chain teams to ensure effective execution of sales activities
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related scientific field
- 3–5 years of experience in formulation, technical service, or specialty chemical sales
- Proven knowledge of UV curing solutions and technologies applied to adhesives, coatings, and inks
- Solid understanding of commercial negotiations, pricing, and contracts
- Ability to manage complex customer projects independently while collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex technical topics
- Structured, solution‑oriented, and customer‑focused mindset
- Highly motivated, self‑driven, and comfortable working independently in a home‑office environment
- Fluent English speaker: additional languages are an advantage
