US Market - RAHN-Cosmetic Actives
We are looking for a highly proactive and customer‑focused Customer Service Specialist to support our growing US business primarily within the RAHN-Cosmetic Actives division. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our American customers and a key partner to our Sales team in the US and our Supply Chain team in Switzerland. In addition to your main focus on Cosmetic Actives, you will also provide customer service support for our EnergyCuring division, contributing to seamless collaboration across both business areas. Furthermore, you will have significant ownership, autonomy, and decision‑making responsibility to deliver an exceptional customer experience and represent our brand with confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for US B2B customers, primarily representing RAHN-Cosmetic Actives with a professional, service‑minded, and solution‑oriented approach, while also providing customer service support for the EnergyCuring division.
- Manage all incoming inquiries, orders, and quotations with accuracy and a high sense of urgency.
- Build strong customer relationships through clear communication, proactive follow‑up, and reliable execution.
- Handle the full operational workflow: order entry, pricing checks, confirmations, delivery coordination, and issue resolution.
- Work closely with Supply Chain Switzerland to secure product availability and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Manage complaints and deviations in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Make independent decisions in daily operations while balancing customer needs and company guidelines.
- Anticipate issues, identify improvements, and help enhance our customer service processes for the US market.
- Support Sales with customer insights, market specifics, and operational expertise.
- Partner with US Sales, HQ Customer Service, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Finance and the US Customer Service of Energy Curing Department
- Ensure smooth, consistent communication between the US market and Switzerland.
- Contribute to cross‑functional projects, tool improvements, and digital workflows.
Your Profile:
- Several years of experience in B2B customer service, inside sales, customer operations, or a similar role, ideally in cosmetics, chemicals, ingredients, or a related industry.
- Strong decision‑making skills and the ability to work independently.
- High comfort level with digital tools (ERP/CRM systems like SAP or similar; MS Teams; online collaboration platforms).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, even under pressure.
- A collaborative mindset and confidence working across cultures and time zones.
- A service‑driven approach with a professional, polished customer presence.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
