Job Summary
Canobie Lake Toyota is seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) Service Lane Sales / Equity Specialist to join our customer-facing team in the service drive. This role is all about greeting service customers, creating quick rapport, and introducing free appraisals and vehicle exchange opportunities that may benefit them.
You will be the first point of contact for many customers and play a key role in identifying upgrade opportunities—both in person and through next‑day service customer phone calls.
What You’ll Do
• Greet and engage service customers as they arrive, creating a positive first impression.
• Start friendly conversations to identify who may be open to exploring upgrade or trade options.
• Present free appraisals and explain our vehicle exchange program clearly and confidently.
• Provide customers with appraisal values and simple upgrade/payment scenarios.
• Coordinate with Sales and Management to complete appraisals and smooth customer handoffs.
• Make outbound phone calls to next‑day service customers to uncover opportunities and set appointments.
• Track interactions and results in the CRM, following up with strong BDC-style habits.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Lane coverage: consistently greeting and engaging service lane traffic.
• Customer presentations: number of customers provided with appraisal and upgrade options.
• Conversions: completed appraisals, opportunities created, and successful handoffs.
Requirements
• Bilingual: Spanish & English (not required, but a HUGE plus)
• Comfortable approaching customers in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and excellent communication skills
• Reliable, coachable, and consistent with process
• Strong customer service mindset
Preferred Experience
• Automotive dealership experience (BDC, Sales, Service Advisor, Greeter, Equity Mining)
• CRM experience and disciplined follow‑up habits
