Commercial Construction Superintendent
Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000 annually

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations on construction projects. The Superintendent is responsible for managing jobsite activities, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project schedules, maintaining safety standards, and delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities from project startup through completion.
- Coordinate and direct subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
- Ensure projects are completed according to plans, specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
- Maintain daily jobsite reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
- Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and jobsite inspections.
- Monitor project schedules and proactively address delays or issues impacting project progress.
- Coordinate inspections with local authorities, owners, architects, and engineers.
- Review construction drawings and specifications to identify potential conflicts and resolve field issues.
- Manage material deliveries and site logistics to maintain efficient workflow.
- Communicate project status and challenges to Project Managers and company leadership.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite.
- Assist with punch list completion and project closeout activities.
Qualifications
Required
- 3–5 years of experience as a Superintendent, Foreman, or Lead Supervisor in commercial construction.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, sequencing, and building systems.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and construction safety practices.
- Ability to comply with OSHA Safety standards
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management platforms.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk active construction sites for extended periods.
- Ability to climb ladders, navigate uneven terrain, and work in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
