Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate supports end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, processing, storing, picking, and shipping. This role ensures accurate inventory management, high-quality product handling, and on-time order fulfillment. Depending on business needs, associates may specialize or rotate across functional areas such as receiving, processing, picking, shipping, small parts inventory, AutoStore operations, or coordination. This position plays a critical role in maintaining operational flow, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inbound & Receiving
- Receive, verify, and process incoming products, including purchase orders and blind bids
- Inspect products for accuracy, quality, and damage; escalate discrepancies as needed
- Accurately record inventory in warehouse management systems
- Evaluate, sort, and process items for storage, resale, or listing (including research and web listing where applicable)
- Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and system updates
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately and efficiently based on customer requirements
- Coordinate shipments to meet service-level expectations and delivery timelines
- Verify order accuracy prior to shipment
- Store and organize inventory according to warehouse standards and location systems
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Operate and support automated systems (e.g., AutoStore)
- Manage small parts inventory with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Coordinate workflow, priorities, and order movement across functions
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and in compliance with training
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and regulatory requirements

- Problem Solving: Ability to identify issues and take corrective action (inventory discrepancies, order errors, etc.)

- Adaptability: Flexibility to shift between roles, priorities, and processes
- Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with warehouse systems and Microsoft 365 tools
- Mathematical Skills: Basic counting, measurement, and data entry accuracy
- Work Environment: Fast-paced warehouse setting with varying priorities. Exposure to equipment, moving machinery, and changing temperatures depending on facility
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience preferred
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or automation systems is a plus
- Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
- Repetitive hand and motion activities
- Occasional bending, reaching, climbing, kneeling, or crouching
- Ability to lift:
- Up to 10 lbs continuously
- Up to 25 lbs frequently
- Up to 50 lbs occasionally
This is an hourly position. The schedule for this position is 8am- 5pm Monday through Friday, with a 1-hour meal break.
Employee is expected to come to work on time and adhere to accepted time-off policies. Employee is required to be available for overtime or extra hours as needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The environment is a plant and inventory setting. Dress attire is casual but professional in a plant and inventory setting. All employees are encouraged to wear “Radwear” (apparel with company logo) at all times once the initial supply (at company expense) has been received. Closed-toe, hard sole shoes must be worn. Safety shoes are recommended.
Radwell ID Badge and Access card must be worn at all times. Employees must adhere to all Radwell Safety Requirements at all times (see safety manual posted online).
