Senior Level Hire - Lead
One of our technology focused trading firm clients is searching for a HPC Infrastructure Engineer (LINUX) to join their Chicago based trading hub. This is a great opportunity for those with a passion for High Performance Computing to break into a lucrative and exclusive industry for the first time, or for those working within the industry to take the next step in their career and join one of the most well renowned HFT teams in the world in a Lead function.
The successful candidate will be working on researching, building, provisioning and scaling Linux based HPC infrastructure and storage systems.
Requirements -
- Solid experience and understanding of Linux systems
- Experience with and a passion for High Performance Computing
- Skills with cloud computing
- Infrastructure troubleshooting skills
- Strong communicative skills and collaborative nature
- Solid skills with Python (ability to write custom scripts without AI / Library reliance is a must)
What You'll do
- Design and build HPC storage systems on prem and in the cloud (where applicable)
- Troubleshooting issues related to OS, Storage, networking and other infrastructure components where required
- Contribute to research and innovation on HPC technologies
- Support management of diverse computing capabilities including GPU, CPU and processing
