Top FinTech start-up on a mission to reinvent wealth management with AI are looking to hire a talented mid-level Full Stack Engineer to join its team in NYC. Wealth management is one of the most fragmented, manual, and underserved sectors in financial services which which the firm are rapidly disrupting and creating edge in.
The firm does this with a unified, vertically integrated platform powered by agentic AI that automates every part of the stack. It's a greenfield opportunity to tackle complex, multi-agent workflows, real-time data orchestration, and AI-native UX, all in a gigantic space that desperately needs reinvention.
As a Full-Stack Engineer here, you'll build core platform components that unify fragmented wealth management tools into one AI-native solution. You'll own major technical domains from the ground up, working directly with the firms founders to establish the technical foundations of the platform.
What You'll Do:
- Design and build end-to-end AI-powered workflows that automate complex financial advisor processes
- Design multi-agent AI workflows that automate complex financial processes and deliver intelligent insights
- Architect scalable systems handling real-time financial data orchestration across multiple third-party integrations
- Craft intuitive interfaces that make sophisticated AI capabilities accessible to financial professionals
- Make critical technical decisions with significant autonomy, shaping both product direction and engineering culture
What we’re looking for:
- A bachelor or masters degree in Computer Science or STEM subject from a reputable university
- 5-10 years experience as a full- stack engineer within Tier 1 venture- backed start- ups
- Decent proficient with Python, TypeScript, Vercel, AWS ECS, RDS/Postgres, Redis, Terraform, AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor)
- A strong product instinct and founder-like mindset
- Excited to be amongst the first 10 hires in a highly collaborative, lean team of exceptional people
Compensation is highly competitive and contingent on experience. Competitive equity stakes are on the table.
Salary : $180,000 - $250,000
