What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Specialist position at Radius International?
Radius International is growing and moving to Station Landing next to Assembly Row and train station! Radius International, established in 2009, is a global logistics provider with a network spanning over 220 locations in 125 countries. Specializing in freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and supply chain management, Radius is committed to being a true partner to its customers by providing results-based solutions and services.
Radius is currently seeking a motivated and energetic bookkeeper to join our accounts payable and accounts receivable department. While some experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. Salary can be adjusted based on experience.
Role and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Maintain books of accounts and correct errors in bookkeeping records.
- Verify that transactions are recorded in the appropriate day book, supplier’s ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger
- Ensure that payments within the bank are made in accordance with legal requirements or the business rules and policies of the bank regarding financial obligations or other accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of various transactions
- Issue financial reports
- Reconcile data
- Ensure that all incoming and outgoing funds are accurately accounted for and tracked.
- Maintain books of accounts and correct errors in bookkeeping records.
- Monitor accounts receivable
- Invoice vendors
- Offset and settle payments with overseas partners
