What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Coordinator position at Radius Ai Technologies?
Founding Community & Events Lead
Radius • Remote on-site at launch events • Contract-to-hire • Employee #1
Help us launch the app that lets you walk into any room and find exactly who or what
you're looking for.
About Radius
Radius is a proximity-based discovery and connection app launching this fall. We believe in the renaissance of human connection: turning events, conferences, and campuses into places where the right people actually find each other. No more leaving a 300-person room wondering if you missed the one person you came to meet. We're patent-pending, launch-ready, and going to market through major seminars, conventions, and university campuses. This is day one. You would be employee #1.
The Role
This is not a marketing internship, and it is not a desk job. You will be the person who makes the magic
happen at our first launch events:
• Own event-day operations: check-in flow, attendee onboarding, floor support, and making sure every attendee experiences a great match.
• Run our concierge matching program: hand-curating connections between users while our AI learns from what you do.
• Build and manage our in-app community: the feed, interest groups, and post-event follow-up that
keep people connected after the room empties
• Work directly with the founder daily: you'll see every part of how a startup launches, and your
fingerprints will be on all of it.
Who We're Looking For
• You have actually run events: campus organizations, Greek life leadership, conferences, fundraisers, large socials. You know what it feels like when 300 people show up and everything has to work.
• You're an organizer at heart: group chats, spreadsheets, run-of-show docs, follow-ups that actually
happen.
• You're a natural connector: the person who introduces people at parties because you just know they'd hit it off.
• Comfortable talking to anyone, from college seniors to CEOs
• Bonus (not required): deep ties to sorority/fraternity networks or campus organizations; community-management or CRM experience.
• Degree field doesn't matter. Show us what you've built and run.
Structure & Compensation
90-day contract-to-hire: $4,000–4,500/month, part-time ramping to full-time as
$55,000–72,000 salary depending on experience and qualifications, plus Trial period launch events scale.
On conversion meaningful founding-team equity (vested)
Travel Travel to launch events fully covered
Location Remote between events; must be able to travel to event sites
Why This Role Is Different
Most first jobs put you three layers from anything that matters. Here, the success of our first events is the company's proof of concept, and you'll own it. If Radius becomes what we believe it will, you'll have been the first person through the door, with ownership to show for it.
How to Apply
Email apply@myradius.ai with “Pick Me” in the subject line (so I know you read this far).
1. A short note on the biggest or most complex event you've personally run, plus one thing that went
wrong and how you handled it
2. Your resume or LinkedIn
3. Optional but powerful: anything that shows your organizing in action. Photos, run-of-show docs, the group-chat screenshot, whatever proves you're the one who made it happen
No cover letters. Evidence over essays.
Salary : $55,000 - $72,000
