Hotel Maintenance Job Description
Job Summary:
The Hotel Maintenance performs routine maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance throughout the hotel. This role ensures guest rooms, public areas, and mechanical systems are operating efficiently while responding promptly to maintenance requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and maintain hotel facilities, guest rooms, and public areas.
- Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting as needed.
- Respond quickly to guest maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on hotel equipment and building systems.
- Replace light bulbs, repair fixtures, and maintain appliances.
- Troubleshoot and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
- Maintain landscaping, or exterior areas when required.
- Keep accurate maintenance records and complete work orders.
- Follow safety procedures and comply with local building codes.
- Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in building maintenance, hotel maintenance, or a related trade preferred.
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be 18 and have valid drivers license
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Physical stamina and dexterity
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
