Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper cash register procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
• Proficiency with POS systems including Micros POS preferred
• Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and warmly
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for accurate check processing and cash handling
• Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant schedule
• Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for hospitality is essential

Pay: $14.05 - $15.00 per hour
