Radiology Ltd. a 500-employee medical imaging company in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a full time general Ultrasound Technologist Float to join our staff. We are a partner company of Lumexa Imaging and the premier provider of diagnostic and interventional radiology services in Southern Arizona since 1933. Our company's subspecialized, fellowship-trained experts in body imaging, breast imaging, interventional radiology, molecular imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, neuroradiology, and pediatric radiology utilize advanced technology to deliver high-quality expedient interpretations.
We are seeking an Ultrasound Technologist Float that has the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment. Hours for this position are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Candidates should possess the following qualities:
- Customer Service - Ability to provide excellent patient care, acting with professionalism and empathy at all times.
- Position entails performing general ultrasound including abdomen, pelvis, vascular, carotids and Venous Doppler studies.
- The US Technologist must be familiar with standards, concepts and procedures in a clinical setting.
- The position requires the ability to maintain workflow in a fast paced environment, handle stressful and emergency situations effectively.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Provides excellent patient care in a timely manner, communicates with Radiologists and works efficiently with team members.
- Vascular training helpful.
Qualifications:
- Current ARDMS and CPR certification and two years clinical experience is preferred.
- Technologist must also be able to stand, bend, squat and lift at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to travel to multiple sites throughout Tucson, Green Valley and Oro Valley is required. Mileage for sites outside City of Tucson. Float pay increase is $5 per hour over base pay.
