MAMMOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGIST SIGN ON BONUS!
Radiology Ltd., a 500-employee imaging organization seeks a full time Mammography Technologist Float to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude and excellent imaging skills.
The candidate must be able to travel to multiple sites in Tucson, Green Valley and Oro Valley. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Customer Service - Ability to provide excellent patient care, acting with professionalism and empathy at all times.
- Provide excellent patient care in a timely manner, communicate with radiologists and work efficiently with team members.
- Responsible for performing precise, prompt and high quality Mammography examinations.
- Selects appropriate imaging techniques and operates console and peripheral hardware, enters and monitors patient data.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks and works under general supervision.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a technologist preferred
- Superior communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills, always putting the patient first
- Must be able to manage time in a productive manner within the guidelines of the department
Qualifications:
- The applicant must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Must be certified in mammography, possess ARRT credentials and a current Arizona State Licensure
- Breast ultrasound experience helpful. Training will be provided as well as in breast biopsy procedures if needed.
