What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant position at RADIOLOGY LTD LLC?
Radiology Ltd., a 500 employee imaging company is seeking a full time Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. Hours are 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Monday-Friday. The location of the position is on the East Side of Tucson.
The CCMA will provide assistance to radiology staff including radiologists, nurses and technologists in a fast paced team environment.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Position:
- Prepare patients for exams and coordinate patient flow
- Monitor patients post procedure including vitals.
- Interview patient prior to exam and provide accurate documentation for nurses, physician extenders, technologists and radiologists
- Aids in providing patient education for scheduled exams
- Monitors supplies
- Maintains patient confidentiality
Experience and Other Requirements:
We are seeking candidates that have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with the following attributes:
- Customer service oriented with excellent communication skills
- Excellent multi-tasking skills and adaptability to a busy workflow
- Ability to work on a team and seek out where help is needed
- Responsible, reliable and empathetic
- Proficient in Windows based PC applications
- Prior medical office experience helpful
- Active CPR certification
- Must be a CCMA
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
