Position Overview
Reliance Management Services is seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Teleradiology Applications Support Specialist to provide critical support for external clinical applications, systems, and workflows. This role supports Radiologists and hospital staff across the United States, often in urgent patient care situations.
This is a full-time, remote position requiring a reliable, high-speed internet connection. All required hardware equipment will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 24/7/365 technical support for multiple hospital and outpatient facilities
Support Radiologists and hospital/ER staff with clinical systems and applications
Troubleshoot issues related to PACS, RIS, dictation systems, and related workflows
Escalate complex technical issues to the IT support team as appropriate
Maintain strong working relationships with Radiologists and hospital staff
Support facilities including Advent, HCA, Seven Rivers, Flagler Health, Halifax, and other outpatient locations
Assist with project work related to hospital and teleradiology workflows
Deliver high levels of customer service in time-sensitive, patient-care environments
Schedule
This position follows a rotating night swing schedule. Candidates must be available to work Monday through Sunday, including overnight hours, as scheduled.
Qualifications
Required:
Knowledge of medical terminology
Prior experience in a hospital or radiology setting (e.g., Radiologic Technologist, Medical Assistant, or similar clinical role)
Preferred:
Experience with PACS, RIS, dictation systems, and radiology workflows
IT or computer-related certifications (helpful but not required)
Skills & Abilities
Strong computer and application troubleshooting skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
Strong time management and organizational abilities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Work Requirements
