What we're looking for: The Assistant Director: Point of Care product line will serve as a Senior Product Manager for the Point of Care product line will be responsible for incubating and driving the development and commercialization of new AI-enabled products with partners, as well as responsible for understanding customer needs and market intelligence, developing and testing proof points of value, and owning and driving hardened product development to market launch. The role will manage a staff team and external partner relationships and will be expected to distill and translate leadership’s direction to the product development team. The position reports to the Director: Innovation and Development. Develop and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to create value for RSNA and its customers, working with stakeholders. Build innovative value propositions for customers.Identify, source, and work with external development and external engineering partners to build full solutions and drive products to market. Own continuous communications with internal and external stakeholders and the product team. Coordinate and provide feedback across teams and stakeholders to ensure outputs at each stage of the product lifecycle aligns to the stakeholder vision. Own, manage, and execute entire product lifecycle from vision to concept to proof-of-concept to pilot and launch at scale, including making recommendations related to product enhancements, product extensions, or discontinuing products, as appropriate. Improve the product during the different stages through data analysis and manage value realization throughout the product lifecycle. This role will be the GM of the product. Have commercial responsibility around Product Launch and Product Lifecycle, including effective pricing, forecasting, promotion, in collaboration with the different teams. Own business and financial data gathering and analysis using a framework. Build business cases and pricing for new products and new features. Make judgment trade-offs between features and speed-to-launch. Own use case prioritization, feature definition, market research, customer discovery, and validation.Lead the design, execution, and analysis of market research, including surveys and focus groups. Synthesize findings for vetting new initiatives to determine product strategy and make recommendations to leadership. Translate insights into actionable product plans. Maintain understanding of current and future needs, trends, and competitive landscape.Manage day-to-day product activities, including identifying, defining, and tracking KPIs, and work cross-functionally to strategize and course correct as needed. Lead ideation and problem-solving workshops. Translates ideas and user needs into product development by managing the product backlog and define digital product specifications to make day-to-day decisions for a working team. Establish user story acceptance criteria and responsible for final decision on scope and content at the team level. Support testing via market leading testing strategies [A/B testing] and debrief results to the team, partners, and leadership.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, internal and external stakeholders. What you'll need:BS/MS degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Business; MBA preferred 5 years relevant work experience in innovative product development and execution4 years of recent continuous digital product management2 years of product management experience in launching AI/ML-based products; working with leading AI vendors2 years of professional experience with healthcare, or health technology productsStrategic thinker with the ability to identify unmet customer needs, develop product roadmaps, and implement new strategies; align customer use cases with technological solutionsExperience in managing strategic relationships with third-party vendors and partnersExperience managing and developing a product teamDemonstrated curiosity and drive for building bold products and great user experience Skilled multi-tasker with ability to work through ambiguityBusiness acumen, including the ability to create and track financial forecastsProven ability to influence stakeholders, executing product priorities and driving results while maintaining relationships; Strong interpersonal skills, oral, written, and listening communication skills with stakeholders; Adept at selling through compelling narrativesStrong strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with an ability to identify the most important things amongst many important things; Good judgementSolid understanding of Agile and Design Thinking methodologies for rapid product iteration and experimentation; Ability to design User Acceptance Testing plansMastery in researching, gathering, drafting, and translating requirements between stakeholders, design, content, and engineering counterpartsAbility to train internal departments on new product launches through documentation and demosAbility to assess ongoing product performance and enhancement opportunitiesOnsite (hybrid) in Oak Brook, IL preferred; Ability to work in Central time and demonstrated reliability working remotely required for non-local candidatesUp to 25% travel to client/partner locations and to Oak Brook, IL office if remoteThe Radiological Society of North America is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind. Salary : $145,000 - $165,000
