We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive professional with a strong understanding of polymer manufacturing and raw materials to support our Research & Development team through regulatory compliance and technical documentation. Join our team and play a key role in bringing innovative polymer solutions to market.
Role responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with customer, industry, and global regulations, including REACH, RoHS, Prop 65, GADSL, and other regulatory requirements.
- Review, maintain, and manage technical and regulatory documentation, including SDS, TDS, product specifications, COAs, and environmental and regulatory compliance records.
- Partner with R&D, Quality, Procurement, and suppliers to support raw material approvals, supplier qualifications, and new product development.
- Maintain accurate raw material documentation and technical records while ensuring timely updates and document control.
- Prepare clear, concise technical reports, regulatory declarations, and compliance documentation to support customer and OEM requirements.
- Provide technical guidance on raw material specifications and collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate supply chain and regulatory changes.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining organized documentation and ensuring compliance with company procedures and evolving regulatory standards.
What you bring to the role:
- Knowledge of product stewardship principles and global regulatory requirements governing raw materials and finished products (e.g., REACH, RoHS, Prop 65, GADSL).
- Familiarity with quality management systems and compliance standards, including IATF and ISO.
- Strong technical writing, editing, and communication.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time management.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, laboratory methods, and quality control standards.
Requirements for success:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Polymer or Chemical Engineering (preferred) or Materials/Polymer Science, Chemistry, or Engineering, and 3 years relevant experience with specific knowledge and expertise in regulatory affairs; Or a high school diploma with 10 years of relevant experience and expertise in regulatory affairs.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience with regulatory compliance and technical documentation
- Working knowledge of polymer materials, raw material documentation, and manufacturing processes preferred
- Experience in the plastic polymer industry preferred
