Pay Rate: $50.00-$63.00/ Hr on W2

Description:
Summary:
The main function of a Manufacturing Engineer is to apply engineering theory and principles to problems related to industrial layout and manufacturing production.
A typical Manufacturing Engineer has the ability to create engineering drawings and read and interpret blueprints.
Job Responsibilities:
- Study time, motion, methods, and speed involved in maintenance, production, and other operations to establish standard production rates and improve efficiency
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards
- Review worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification documents to ensure records adhere to quality assurance standards
- Assist in planning work assignments based on worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays
- Prepare charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization
- Observe workers using equipment to ensure operations and maintenance align with quality assurance standards
- Monitor tasks and operations to determine time requirements and fatigue rates using appropriate timing methods
- Evaluate data and prepare reports to validate or identify deviations from established standards
Skills:
- Strong creativity, communication (verbal and written), analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to create sketches, engineering drawings, and perform standard engineering calculations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
- Experience with engineering software and applications, such as Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
- 5 years of relevant experience required
