Responsibilities
- Assess clients’ needs through thorough interviews, evaluations, and ongoing case reviews to develop personalized care plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and crisis management to stabilize clients during urgent or emergency situations
- Offer addiction counseling, behavioral health support, and motivational interviewing techniques to promote positive change.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including healthcare providers, social workers, childcare specialists, and community organizations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of case progress, service plans, and client interactions in compliance with confidentiality standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in social work, behavioral health, or related fields with a focus on client advocacy and support.
- Demonstrated expertise in crisis intervention and crisis management strategies.
- Prior supervisory or mentoring experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of addiction counseling techniques and behavioral health interventions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate clients and foster trust through motivational interviewing.
